You don’t have to be 100% sure of your identity. Ever.
You don’t have to run yourself into the ground trying to pull yourself apart and figure out the words. And it’s okay to be nervous instead of excited about a new discovery, because hey, it can be scary. You’re allowed to experiment, you’re allowed to question, you’re allowed to dwell on it as much or as little as you want because it is your feelings, your self, your identity.
You deal with it and wear it like you want to, because it’s yours.

#THE WORST EPISODE #GOOD LORD #everything about this episode and 9 are perfect and flawless #oh look! my favorite animation crew! and ikuhara #i think i could cry #oh wait i’m already crying #i love this scene a lot because it’s SHOUMA holding the family together this time #i hate how shouma got shafted by this show but the novels do a really good job of making up for it so whatever #still #ugh my heart #the emotional burden shouma carries kills me every fucking time #and i think it’s heartbreaking that he never really talks about it #because in the end the origin of sin was his #he was the perpetrator of everything in a way and he has every right to go and be depressed about it #all he wanted to do was to keep his family together and happy #i feel like kanba was only doing it for himari’s sake #until the ending where the root of his and shouma’s relationship was shown through the apple exchange #but shouma always had the entire family’s interests at heart #that’s not to say that he was better than kanba in any way #shouma is as much to blame as kanba #they are polar opposites but exactly the same #kanba through his ignorance of others ends up hurting the people he loves #shouma through his self depreciation ends up hurting the people he loves #kanba’s narrative is much more active while shouma’s is much more passive but they end up saving and destroying the same things in a way #kanba is able to keep the family financially stable but it’s shouma whose words get through to ringo and make her realize the consequence… #s of her actions #WOW OVERSPILLING PENGUINDRUM FEELS TODAY AREN’T WE NATASHA
okay tbh that post with tweets about ‘i’d let chris brown beat me anyday’ is disturbing as fuck. however.
to me it just reeks of internalized misogyny. these girls live in a society that has not punished chris brown for his behavior at all. they live in a society that teaches them that the ultimate form of masculinity is temperamental and strong and violent. they’re desensitized to violence because it is everywhere. i’m hesitant to condemn these individual girls for these tweets. let’s blame the music industry which has welcomed chris brown back with open arms. let’s blame the advertising industry which bombards us with violent imagery every single day. let’s blame the patriarchy, which sets up impossible standards of masculinity that men have to act out in order to quote-unquote “fulfill”. let’s blame the patriarchy again, for desensitizing women to domestic and sexual abuse. let’s blame rape culture, which makes abuse into a ruse and a joke. people are, after all, only a product of the environment in which they are raised and it’s damn near impossible to escape all of that shit.

Disclaimer: This is not meant to be funny. This is meant to satirize how carelessly a serious subject has been handled. It is also not a defense for Kanye; what he did was selfish and Taylor will never get that moment back. However, I felt it necessary to raise the issue of race. Age certainly wasn’t the difference, considering both incidents transpired in 2009 and Rihanna is only one year older than Taylor
I’d also like to add that if Chris Brown beat the shit out of Taylor Swift instead of Rihanna his ass would be in jail right nowCorrection, He would be UNDER the jail.
Thank you.
